Thread regarding NuVasive Inc. layoffs

Does anyone know what is the business plan of this Barbie-Oppenheimer merger?

# Long rant warning. TLDR - confused Nuva employee.

The nuva team is completely left scratching our heads on where exactly is the "integration" that was being spoken about, since it's more like whacking your way through the Amazon with a machete. Trying to change the entire company's ERP system within 2 months was enough proof of what was coming next.
The morale is really low in the office because 1. No direction on projects, 2. Onsite every day, 3. We think Globus leadership makes decisions without understanding the details of projects, instead of letting the teams make informed decisions, 4. Nearly everyone is looking for new jobs. 5. Not even a single email from leadership addressing the layoffs and morale?

Our cultures are clearly different, waaayyy different. And no effort is being made by Globus leadership to even try a cultural integration. As expected, Globus leadership assumes that they are experts at integration and are going to prove analysts wrong, but nuvasive was all about the people and that's what made it a fun place to work at. Can Oppenheimer and Barbie be combined into one blockbuster movie?

Dear Globus employees, we are surprised that you continue to choose to remain in that company culture, which seems in comparison to us like a government office from the soviet union. If this is how it is always run, then we are flabbergasted and confused as to why people stay there. Is it because there aren't many other opportunities in that area?

So the final question is, does Globus want to retain any talent at all from the nuvasive side? Do they think this merger will be worth the money spent? We have lost major sales teams from nuva for other opportunities, so what exactly is the business plan here?
