I heard that Carbon Black was no longer being sold off (nobody wanted to buy them at the price Hock wanted) so most of them will probably be gone in the next wave
EUC I heard the sale will be agreed in the next few weeks, and then it will take until the summer to actually happen. So those folks are probably safe from layoff until they land at whichever of the PEs are still left in the bidding - none of which are Silverlake.

HT is eager to dump both BUs ASAP and use the sale proceeds to pay down debt.
If that doesn't occur soon then we should expect more headcount cuts.
next round ? It is just an continuous process . This week 18 in The Netherlands , 300+ in UK get notified that March 1st or 16nd is there last day . On top of that 300+ rejected the offer in UK. France and Germany are the big ones left
EUC and CB probably gone by end of this month (sure before Day2 in May). They can look forward to their welcome letter from Silverlake
Everyone is fired. Send your second monitor back to the office and look for a new job. Hock can do it all by himself.
Easy to figure out if people post their approximate separation date that is in their letter. Mine is in October.
At this point, who cares.
Day2.
What do you mean will they survive?
Hilarious post
Not soon enough for some of you kiddies
What is WWLO?
I presume World Wide Lay-Off? Like we had WWKO in the past. (Before Dell/the pandemic/Broadcom turned it all to sh*t.)
What is WWLO?
I’ve been hearing March, so probably have another week or 2 before it begins.
