Targets are actually 9 hours in office on average but there has been push back so some VP levels are delaying the news
We have many people that come in early and leave early to avoid the commute traffic. They WFH in the afternoon more than 8 hours. I’m one of them. If they do this, don’t expect one second over 8 hours from me
Isn’t 8 hours only 8 to 4? Go tell a production worker, nurse, teacher, etc. how tough you have it. My wife works ridiculously long hours at the hospital and has real stress trying to save people’s lives. Stop whining.
If they made me come back for the sake of "being in an office" I'd come in late and leave early too. If they made me commute for no good reason they can eat my commute time. And I sure as he-l wouldn't wfh before or after.
I’m not doing it anymore. If I’m bore productive from home based on my particular workload that day, I WFH. I always keep my boss informed. Let them fire me. They’d be doing me a favor.
Wait for FB to tell you must be in the office from 8 to 5 with everyone taking a lunch hour. No more showing up at 7 or earlier. Your WFH day will follow the same hours! Core Hours people.
You mean that the "flexibility" makes you more productive? Amazing.
There are folks who wfh for an hour or so and then come in late to miss traffic. Same thing for leaving early. Seems a little counter intuitive to come in later as parking is afu by then. I do the early thing myself because of that.
Ever notice how whenever there is a new mandate some cuck comes on here and blames it on some group of workers... you are an id--t if you believe that.
It is the next tightening of the sc--ws to get more people to quit or be fired.
While we should not need these types of policies, I see every day newer employees coming in very late and ducking out early and are not online when not in office. Their lack of work causes more for others.
SO glad I am retiring from this SH-t-Whole soon. Not gonna move to new office location in mke b ut gonna make them fire me for NOT 'obeying' any RTO mandates. I am ready to go! I have noit heard of this mandate yet but I am sure it will happen in bkfld-mke soon.
