It's not a "come to office or quit" mandate. Remote was offered to stem people quitting.
It's comical. On one hand these same people are predicting massive layoffs every other week then the other hand is now switching to dell is too cheap to layoff.

Dell Sr. Dir have Never followed ethics in reality. They ensured they were PERCEIVED to be ethical. So why are you guys so surprised at this cheap stunt by Dell.
Imagine the worst scenario and I can assure you that the Sr. Dir will bring it to execution.

This heartburn is not worth your time, health or well being. Avoid the sewage.
what does policy violation mean..will you fired, laid off, won't get a raise or bonus...what does it actually mean??
Also, someone mentioned, "so just be hybrid and don't go in. You'll be treated just like remote. What's the big deal"
They will be tracking door punch ins and not meeting the required number of days in office per quarter will be a 'policy violation'
Dell employees that choose to be remote will not be considered for promotions above a certain level. Remote employees will also be taken into other "staffing considerations"
This is the policy.
In March, team members in hybrid roles will have a one-time opportunity to change your designation to remote, with manager approval. We believe strongly in the hybrid model and encourage team members to opt for this classification over remote. The key take away is 'with manager approval'
so just be hybrid and don't go in. You'll be treated just like remote. What's the big deal

i agree. those are the criteria manager's have to work from.
Not whimsical hey you live a few miles from office so you cant be remote.
@cbk+1r3g8gom - they do in a few situations. been with company <3yrs, on a pip or has documented performance issues, and a third I can't remember. The manager faq is open for everyone to read on Inside
I can't even hear you. It's just noise coming out of an ugly scientist.
thats wrong. managers dont get to decide if you are capable of being hybrid or remote
if you can be hybrid, not so sure your manager will let you choose remote, from what I understand. It is not a guarantee.
