Verizon is bragging about their network in Vegas and how it performed at the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile Vegas was the launch market for Dish and you'd never know it. Crickets. Whatever the real strategy is, it ain't about being relevant, competitive or anything remotely resembling being a factor.

Here is the problem... you can have an amazing marketing team but when its old a-s leadership and the new leadership who think they know how and what to do, then the marketing team is only left to do what they are told to.
Marketing is a joke. they keep hyping up using the other carriers towers in ads.
That's probably because the marketing team was laid off.
