Thread regarding Siemens layoffs

This company absolutely su-ks. Siemens Recruiters email you Job Reqs stating they are Stong Matches based on your Resume they have on file.

After reading the Siemens Recruiter's email, you go ahead and waste your scarce time in applying to the said job. Ten out of ten, times the Siemens Recruiters then have a form letter type of email, which they don't sign their name sent to you. Most times you get the emails the same day that you applied to the job they emailed you about. The lame a$$ emails the Recruiters have sent, you can't respond back to, and they are to inform you that in regard to their job you applied to, they state they are going with another candidate. Weeks later you decide to log into your Siemens Profile and see the same job you applied to weeks before in which they turned you down, stating they were going with another candidate is still posted as Open.

Siemens is nothing but a two-bit scam artist company wasting peoples time about fake jobs they post.

If you are looking for a job, don't waste your time with Siemens.

Had similar experience, also got message one job was cancelled (I suspect was actually moved to another country), then had some recruiter interviews only to get some sporadic updates and then got rejected 2 months later.
Got one final interview which was weird, they say English is official language but also complain employees do not want to speak English. Seems very bureaucratic and chaotic.

How do you know it's not a phishing attempt? The emails I got were standard "application received" and job status in the portal is "With Recruiters" or "With Hiring Manager". I wonder if you were really dealing with someone from the HR department.
