There will be layoffs at this company. Every. Single. Quarter. No one is safe.
If they can replace you in India, Mexico, Poland or with AI, they will.
Some senior leadership has tried to reason will McKinsey that top talent, expertise and clients will be lost in this process. They don't care. They need to get to a number.
Hll even McKinsey will be going through a culling. Their employees have been put on notice. Karma is a btch.

And that number will keep on getting lower year after year while Nielsen circles the drain.
The company has been taken over by people who know the price of everything, but the value of nothing.
Keeping an experienced & high-morale workforce retained is invaluable.

It's a done deal. It hurts, it makes us angry; our stress levels are at an all time high.
Everyone will handle this on their own terms. People need to stop trying to analyze others and using their own logic for what people should feel and how they should behave. Just shut up and listen when others are baring their souls to you.
Leaders if you do not know how to deal with this then maybe you should not be a Leader. There is no spreadsheet that will give you an answer for what is happening.
at this point with how awful the hiring market is i’ll be grateful to make it to the middle of Q2, the end of Q2 is too much to hope for. I highly doubt that will happen but I hope. The reality is lasting to the end of Q1 is like winning a prize.
