Are we supporting your business units and functions? How may we do better? Why do we keep losing people? Why can’t we pay enough to attract experience? Why does my pinky stinky? Are you running your race? Are you prepared for your touch point?

Idk I like “run your race” it’s just upper management admitting they got there by kissing a-s and have no idea what to do as far as training. So the fact there is no mid much less early career development won’t matter anyway. “Just gotta schmooze like we did!”
I see a LinkedIn post from the marketing guy in the Uk subsea business that he’s moved on, from what I hear from his colleagues in the US he was driving the marketing hard and getting good results then BO-M he gets pi---d and leaves, another one bites the dust, can’t keep the talent!
We keep loosing people cause they decided to run their race on another track. Once you put the onus of career path on the individuals and to f..k all to support it (no plans, no perspective, no nothing but rather "tell me where you want to go and I'll come up with a million excuses and obstacles to prevent you to get there pretending you need still to grow in your role - by doing what you already do without changing anything - before you can do what you want") , then you accept the risk that they might go elsewhere to find better career prospects for themselves,
