It might not be immediate, but HPE will strip Juniper to bare bones when it comes to employees. The first rule of every acquisition is to minimize costs at the acquired company, which basically means reducing the workforce as much as possible. None of us are safe from this point on.

below director=3 months
Director/Sr=4 months
VP=6 months
extra month for 10 yrs of employment.
You also remain on payroll for 1-2 months before the severance pays out because they don't file the Warn notice and have to make up for it.
Additional $ to offset a month or 2 of cobra
75k is a nice severance. How does the Juniper severance typically work? One month pay per year of service?
Iam glad now I got laid off and got th 75k severance last Aug. already have a job paying a little less but less BS ( all companies lie)
It's worse than that, HPE only have 4m in cash. Will be need to be about 6000 people to make it work.
They won't need Channel, Sales OPS, Marketing, Finance, HR.
Also Managers won't be needed.
If your an AE do you want to work for HPE? its even worse than J on your resume!
It's a cr-p deal all around 2 CEO's with no vision and both running failing companies, both worked for only one company. Customers will hate it, the market will hate it, employees get screwed, it's RR way of clinging to some kind of power.
To fair shareholders win as there is no way we could get to 40 bucks!!!!
We will be lied to like we have for the whole time RR has been CEO.
This is 14 billion dollars sales,
Sale would be 7 billion dollars cash and 7 billion dollars bonds . Interest Rate is 6-7 percent
So HPE would need 1.2 billion profit EBITDA to make money on investments
JNPR made 100 million EBITDA last quarter, so do the MATHS
Dear Employees,
Escape while you can. Antonio, who calls his mum daily, will reduce you to ashes.
Totally agree, don't wait and hope. Find something new ASAP
