Does anyone know what kind of "cheap shoes" JV was wearing in the town hall. He said he wore them to dress like everyone else. I want to know which ones he had so I can be just like him.

Not sure what shoes, but I heard he was bragging about wearing $5K Italian shoes at one of the ERG conferences when he first started. Idk about y’all, but I sure don’t own any that expensive.
Jackboots?
Look guys, (and gals) I got my shoes just like the rest of you peasants, off the website. Good ole payroll deduction!
@1vc There's a lot of people that are VERY uncomfortable around him. The only reason to look that uncomfortable around someone is due to a severe lack of trust. There's no one in Omaha that trusts him. The first time he was at the UP, he was second in command. Now he's at the top with nothing really stopping him from doing anything he wants, except for the board of directors. Fritz didn't stop him from doing layoffs before because Fritz directly benefitted from it and it's what the board wanted at that time. This time he doesn't have a Fritz shield. If he wants to try to relate to the working class, then he needs to do better than focusing on shoes. What he should do is have a conversation with the people on the ground and let the lower people air their grievances with him directly. The clowns in Omaha maybe afraid of him and his ways, but many people on the ground are not afraid of him and probably won't hold back telling him what they really think of him.

On another note does anyone else notice how during these town hall meetings with Vena that the rest of the executives look uncomfortable and that they seem like they really don’t want to talk to him?
