I'm not the person you're asking for, but so far, every article I've found is paywalled, but here's one source. The 339 number and "early February" comes from the summary of the article under the link in Google results:
https://www.mdjonline.com/tribune/business/credit-giant-transunion-laying-off-339-employees/article_e424fcf9-ec48-5351-b36a-1dd867ba5bba.html
339 local employees at the beginning of February as a continuation of the 1300, but I don't know if those are going to be newly notified or if that's just going to be the separation date of some of the folks who already knew.
Source?
It is on the news that it more layoffs are coming on Feb 2.
Any idea which department will be affected? How are you all getting all these info from?
I thought 1300 associates were already notified last month with their separation dates in Jan and Feb and few later.
Yes - more associates will be notified of their layoff towards the end of January. This is part of the plan that was announced. These associates who are laid off will be replaced by off-shore associates.
@1cmp+1qvChQMN were they given a couple more months on payroll like the first wave or were they just given the 1 week/year severance?
People who were not told they were being laid off previously were told last week that there last day will be next Friday.
Leadership was hoping the announced layoffs would result in more organic attrition. If that doesn't happen I would expext more layoffs.
Just my $.02..
The lack of communication from the C-Suite already answers your question. Either they don’t know or they’re preparing to drop a new bo-b at their convenience.
