Oh yes, it's 3-year renewal time. Sonic, AN, Lithia and Group 1 are dusting off their contracts as we speak. Let the bloodsport begin.
Since CDK pursued legal action against employees they laid off that went to work for Tekion, it seems like CDK is concerned about Tekion. The engineering talent that was at CDK wasn’t the problem. Companies like Tekion are happy to pick up what CDK discarded. Will Tekion really make a dent though? CDK’s strategy - if you can’t beat em…buy em has held up pretty well.
CDK is a dinosaur. When you don’t innovate you run the risk of being sla-ghtered. Pigs that get fat get sla-ghtered. CDK got all fat and sassy never dreaming they could be taken out.
