Because I see lots of misinformation here: I have been through restructuring at another large US bank:
- I was contacted by the senior ED of the team and he shared that I will be moved to a different sub-team. My manager was aware but was not on that meeting.
- Everyone below senior EDs / MDs are oblivious to any changes and do not take part in the decisions who to keep or let go. So do not be mad at your direct manager. What matters is what your MD thinks of you.
