Thread regarding Heartland Payment Systems Inc. layoffs

Got an offer from Heartland . Is it a good company to join

Got an offer from Heartland for Director role. Disappointed with the Salary, but culture wise how is the culture. How often layoffs happen. Is it a puppet of Global payments?

Agree with last post. Don't work for Heartland. They are a subsidiary of Global Payments and they are going through a multi-year restructuring where a consulting firm is involved (McKinsey and Associates) and they are offshoring 60 to 70% of all jobs in the company during the next 2 to 3 years. Run away. Culture is abysmal. It used to be such a great place to work, but Global Payments ruined it in their pursuit of Fortune 500 status and increasing stock price.

I used to love Heartland. They are a shell of the company they used to be. Puppet of Global with no future. Find a place to work that values you.

Salary won't increase. Culture is fine. There were 4 RIFs in 2023. Global could care less about Heartland.
