Thread regarding CDK Global Inc. layoffs

CDK about to lose Lithia this year, or next?

"Now that Pendragon shareholders have approved Lithia's $484 million acquisition of the U.K. auto retailer, Lithia will gain a stake in Pendragon's Pinewood DMS, which would be spun off into a standalone company. Lithia and Pinewood plan to form a joint venture to bring a DMS to North America. "

After Autonation, Lithia is one of CDK's biggest fish (No. 2 still)

They do not have to do it per dealership, but per Drive server, and migrate gangs of dealerships at once... they have maybe a score of those servers, and a very large in-house training department. Could be done in less than a year given the resources they have.

Interesting, but my Quick Look into pinewood reveals a company that is 200 strong? If they could migrate a dealership per day - it would take years to move all their business from CDK. Perhaps a fair long term goal…but it seems highly unlikely to be a speedy transition.
