The other thing that they did while before closing all the relevant business units was to sell all the valuable Real Estate. Shut down the Omaha offices before massive RIFs West Technology though 2023 and 2024. Sold all the offices of Intercall and shut down the datacenters. Sold the offices and shut down operation in Louisville for West IP Communications.
This is the end jump ship while you can and still have a job. This is the company's the private equity group that owns all of these businesses MO. Reduce cost in an attempt to make the business unit more desirable for a buyer. If that fails shutter the business unit. They have already did this in multiple verticals / business units. They did this with the conferencing business Intercall multiple layoffs now shuttered. They did this with West Technology though 2023 and 2024, segment people to other BU's and multiple RIF now just a holding company name. And its currently going on with Mosaicx multiple RIFS, -- The writing is on the wall you have been warned!
So, it's the end because the didn't up the lease on a building that has been vacant for over 2 years? Employees overwhelming want to WFH.
Seems like a good financial move on the part of Televox. Will lower costs and likely boost morale for most employees.
you are correct, it is not the end, as the OP stated it is the beginning of the end
not a big deal. Not the end. Simply a decision on office space. Stop trying to cause anxiety for no real reason
