Partners, just like VMware employees, should have seen this coming. There is a long history of Broadcom Software business practices that disrupt the legacy status quo.
VMware is no longer a software development business, it's a line item on AVGO's balance sheet that needs must be optimized to extract the most profit for shareholders. Nothing else matters to HT.
