Anybody know of problems using the new Net control main computer system Up started using this weekend? Will replace the old mainframe that’s been in use 20 years. Any problems using dispatcher radios, ptc , Ctc , printers , Cms , etc,,,,.

CB handles are usually selected based on the user’s personality. What do you think JV would choose for his?
CB radios are always an option, of course everyone would need to choose a “handle”.
Be good to charge overtime if you have to start working early for pc , teams ,etc to get on network.
Another "improvement" for sure. Used to take 30sec to get track and time over the radio, now sometimes I wait for up to 40mins after my UP laptop warms up for 10+ mins before it'll connect to the vru. Have to get to work at least 15mins early bcuz teams has to be restarted 2-3 times before it'll log on to our daily meeting.
Word is their going to ham radios and manual typewriters to save money
