Should I assume that next week is safe? I've been going through posts here once again and most predictions on the start of layoffs mention either January 15 or some subsequent date. I know it doesn't make much difference in the grand scheme of things, but I'd still like to know.

Yes they usually have setup an 1888 number. The easiest way is to read up the transcript which is released two hours later on stocks websites.
Can anyone dial into the earnings call?
No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven.
In a different company, the night before earnings call was used to notify people who would be laid off. So when the CEO of that company appeared for the call, he was able to claim the job cuts as a done deal and used that to hype the bottom line.
I would not assume any day is safe unfortunately.
Anyone who truly has any idea as to WHEN it’s happening is not going to be posting on this website…at least not until the layoffs are hours from happening and the news is fairly widespread.
What I can guarantee you is that Jane is going to be giving at least some specifics about this during the earnings call, on the 12th. Whether the carnage will take place before that, or only afterwards, I am not sure. They have been very clear that this phase will not conclude until the end of March, so it is possible that there will be weeks and weeks of announcements. A likely scenario is that they announce the headline numbers on the 12th and say that they will be escorting people out the door “beginning the week of the 15th.”
My sources say it’s coming Tuesday aft. Am I doing this right? LOL.
Nothing is happening next week. This is all gossip. There will be announcement during the last week of January. Announcement will be simple, but the impact will be significant this time.
Didn’t Jane say the next phase of announcement is end of January?
I've heard 1/11 and 1/12 dates. Apparently earnings are due the 12th so something about being able to report more layoffs
Nothing is happening next week.
I’ve heard Jan 22 and also mid Feb so suspect one of those.
