Considering that first quarter financial results were significantly better than anticipated and we are likely to see that trend continue, none of us should be worried about layoffs, right? Yet here I am, knowing that this leadership doesn't care about results when it comes to cuts. We've had good results followed by layoffs before, so why should now be any different?

Ask yourself this question:
How many people do I know that have retired from Micron? Then ask yourself how many people do I know that have been laid off of driven out?
If you are honest with yourself you will know that you should always be planning on the eventual outcome of getting laid-off when you work at Micron.
