I had a 2 many years ago and they laid me off later the same year; doesn't matter if you make too much.

If you're in a role profile that is about to be removed - like a regional lead, then it may not save you.
Yes and no. One would think that 2/2 is awesome, there’s no way they’ll get rid of you but, if you’re making too much, you’re a prime candidate to be let go.
There are four ratings right? How come you only talked about 2/2? Thought we have four ratings / categories.
What about 3/3? I ki-led myself this year for this awful rating.
Highly unlikely. 2’s are rare, wouldn’t be wasted on someone about to get laid off.
