What I heard from HR and some sources is no more layoffs in 2024. I hope that's true.

Well, layoffs just happened today (7/24/24) so that isn't true.
And somehow DISH was voted the best place to work on Colorado for 2023? Ask the 600+ people they canned what they think. Such a POS company and their leaders are a fu--ing joke.
@"No more layoffs in 2024"...don't ever go into the predicting the future business. You couldn't made a more uninformed and id--tic statement in light of everything going on @Dish these days pointing to the certainty of more layoffs.
Confused on WARN. Does that mean dish can not lay off more people than the 150 stated on WARN for the next 2 months?
Have those 150 employees been notified all or is that ongoing?
The additional 150 will be supervisors on dish tv side and wireless as well as the majority of their primary retention department due to moving these jobs to cheaper overseas workforce in Egypt and the Philippians
Was laid off 1 day of. Advanced CS . above metric goal and no issues anywhere else. Laid off after lunch,
Any info on where the additional ~150 Colorado layoffs announced today per warn notification are/what teams are affected? And, are they taking effect immediately (like the November ones, with folks escorted out, but technically not "laid off" until January 6/7 to fulfill the 60 day notice requirements
March will be the larger “talent upgrade”
You’ll see another Q of subscribers take off and say bye.
any more layoffs besides today?
I was laid off today and another coworker friend of mine
I was laid off today along with several other managers
If they would get their act together and stop letting the rear kissers become management, we'd not be hemorrhaging customers
Of course HR said that. HR is not your friend
It's not a layoff when you call it a "talent upgrade"
Yeah, sure... until the following quarterly reports show how many more subscribers they have lost. Then everyone still there, watch out!
