Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Brillant!

Shoppers everywhere have been complaining about self checkouts in all retail companies. In fact, a lot of retailers are reevaluating self checkout and some have started to consider removing them.
What does Lowe's do?
Add more self checkout.
Lol!
Never stop improving Lowe's. I can't wait to get yelled at even more from customers about how self checkout su-ks ba--s.

The basket shelves for the self-checkout stations are set at a lousy height for checkout -- too much bending over. Unless of course you're placing your mutt on that shelf so that other people can pet it. Then it's at a great height!

Self check out are not going away in any retailer. Yes they do cause shrink, but overall the one time cost over the payroll is a savings. Everyone has them, get over it.

In the rework during November 2022, we went from 4 to 8 SCO machines and lost 2 regular registers. Payroll's been kept so tight, much of the time none of the mainline registers are open and there is only 1 attendant for SCO. Also, 1 cashier each in Garden and Lumber.
