Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

What a horrible company

My friend always complains about how horrible this company is. I can't see this company staying afloat for much longer with such terrible business practices and terrible salary compensation and benefits. (THERE ARE NO BENEFITS)

My friend and their whole team could do their jobs remotely but d-mb policy doesn't allow that.

Even though there are massive layoffs across all industries right now, at least other companies treat their employees well. At least they announce when there has been a layoff. At least they offer nice severance packages.

My friend is always stressed about getting laid off out if the blue. I'm wishing them the best to get a new job.

Stop treating your employees like cr-p!

@kkw+1qpIPFwg I assume you're still young and flexible. The key now is to realize your mistake and GTFO ! Find something and leave, plain and simple. Try and find a position in a State and Fed agency. Fed positions can not by law be outsourced overseas. State
and Fed positions also offer pensions and 401k. NCR stopped their pension plan I believe in 2009. State an Fed positions also offer much better than the crummy NCR health care plan. If you're young this is your time to excel and make some money and not have to worry if Indian or Serb is going take over your job because he works cheap.

I was a new grad hire and got laid off. Didn't even last a year there.

I stupidly picked this horrible company over other offers and now I'm fu---d.
