I'm an optimist and I refuse to enter the new year being all doom and gloom. There are still chances that things will improve and I'm going to believe that this will be the year that happens. And if things really do turn out as bad as some believe they will, then so be it. But I won't waste my time worrying about it before it happens.

Someone drank too much Macy Kool-aid for the new year.
Never understood all these people here for doom and gloom. If you hate the job and company that much, why are you still working here? Do you job, what happens or doesn't happen is what it is.
Of course it will get better. Jeff leaves for good in a few weeks.
If you believe that, then why are you on the Layoff site? Just saying......
