Letting each of you B2Bs know to have a very special new year. Get plenty of rest today and tomorrow because 8am Tuesday we be having a meeting. Then at 9am, another. By noon, the glorious AVP will hold sales training for the 6th week straight. Then at 4, we will jump on another call to make back handed comments to my minions. Wednesday, we will have another meeting at 8:30 while the AVP will continue to make back handed comments why we are hitting numbers or dialing of those P Lists. Who wants to argue with me….yeeeaaaahhh, I love a good spat from my people…yyeeeaaaahhh. By Friday, you will be on your 10th meeting to discuss the last meeting. Why haven’t you dialed yet? Happy New Year fellow B2Bs. You are valued.

Wow.. I was let go several years ago but sounds like the same clueless leadership. They are always wondering why goals aren’t being met. Wake up leadership- you are su-king the life out of your sales team with unproductive meetings and “trainings”. We all know the “trainings” take place to please the vendors who are rolling out the dough and providing funding. The amount of time they remove sales people from the field for meetings and training is criminal.
Sounds about right. B2Bs have now become inside dialers. Good luck with that no one picks up phone and no one wants to talk to a telemarketer. Too bad we don’t have a real marketing engine or decent data or strategy to do anything better. If you are a true salesperson your best bet is to work for a new company that actually appreciates the sales professional. SP and the new regime does not.
