How likely is that there will be Teck Resources layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

I heard that some of the superintendents at the Elk Valley Mines are hoping for a "package" (aka golden handshake) when Glencore takes over.
There is a chance that Glencore sells the new Sparwood office after the media calms down on the takeover after a couple years. Something similar happened in the 1990's with a new hub Sparwood office that was built back then. The 1990's Sparwood office was locked up and all the people that worked there were fired.
