Post any information about potential or actual KeyCorp layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

The Overland Park campus has been downsizing. Managers have been instructed to “encourage” underperforming employees (and high cost ones) to find other employment opportunities.
Layoff packages have been offered to employees starting in September of 2023. If those packages were not accepted by end of December employees were let go starting in January 2024.
High cost employees such as senior account managers have been let go. And replaced with pretty recent college grads. They are not filling positions as employees leave.
In 2022 new loan business about closely 60+ loans per month. As of sept 2023 it went down to 10. Business is picking up and new loan set up have been effected.
I would caution anyone looking for a job here due to uncertainty. And for employees that are here, if you are offered a layoff package. Dust off your resume. If you do not accept it. You will be terminated.
