Max loose bolt with missing nut on rudder!!!

https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/boeing-urges-737-max-inspections-possible-loose-bolt-faa-2023-12-28/

Wow. Here we go again...
Missing hammer anyone on the 787 line; recall that?
B can't seem to either design or build a plane any more.
One thing to be sure is cut cost and sc--w suppliers by not paying 100% what is owed, via our supplier mgmt team offering less...
No wonder we are messed, instead of the focus on engineering in the past glory decades, the focus now is the all mighty dollars and mgmt incentives...
I am still not flying on the max...No way. Give me the NG anyday

I love self inspection. Gives me more game time on my phone.

So did Boeing ever bring back the quality control inspectors that it had let go before the Max crashes? Is it still no double-check, just assembly mechanics "checking their own work?"

Hopefully the airlines are carefully inspecting all aspects of their Boeing airplanes. I am sure there are more issues than this one...discovered by an airline...not by Boeing...

If it's Boeing...I'm NOT going...

This is why self inspection by assembly mechanics is such a bad idea. The emphasis now is increasing production rates, quantity over quality.
