37 branches have had phone lines deverted to "the Sutherland" team in the Philippines in the last month. The people who's jobs they are taking are still unaware. Our dept has taken over 4 depts that were absorbed during the last layoff . We are Over worked understaffed . Slowly they are outsources all our american jobs and will begin layoffs before the end of the year.. Johnson Controls is what's wrong with America! They are Tax exempt and outsourcing all our jobs !
If it makes you all feel any better, even I myself — the layoff czar — could not outrun a layoff.
Should we expect further layoffs in August 2024? There are rumors circulating but nothing has been confirmed yet.
What’s with all the hiring now? JCI went through several rounds of rolling layoffs, and now they’re hiring for many positions.
I was laid off too....my department /finance was moved from Canada to India. I celebrated 36 years of service and discarded like an old sock.....we had to train the new staff who has at most 2 years of experience. Good luck
Company reducing workforce across the board by 10 percent. More potentially coming. Leadership is not really talking about it. We find out as people go dark on chat and email.
I was laid off, and four more are being laid off from the same department. I'm unsure how many more are being laid off or will be laid off.
I was laid off and saw another person from my PBU post that they were laid off on LinkedIn. Not sure how many others were and aren’t posting about it.
Field Operations and BSNA are laying off a portion of workforce as part of the new business model.

Grouping the legacy JCI branch offices into larger "market" territories is not working. This one size fits all format caused JCI to lose customers they took care of for years.

There's supposed to be a new "business model" to be rolled out in 2024 (Jan-Feb).
