What's your prediction as it relates to the possiblity of Halliburton layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

MFG & TECHNOLOGY AT N.BELT HAVE BEGUN!!!! 1 tech and 2 engineers so far. Sneaky start off but this is Halliburton. Hopefully they flush out some of the "dingle berries" that call themselves management. Hang tight guys....
I hope they layoff some of the dead weight top dollar management. ROI is pennies on the dollar. Most of these managers don't even show up for 50% of onsite work and when they do they show what they are doing in Facebook and phone videos. Working on home improvement projects and hunting videos. Way to sp-t work morale. The less they are seen the better they feel the minions have it under control in the plant. Worthless pieces of fill in the blank
Just shut Arbroath and do the work force a favour. It would be good for them to find other jobs where they are appreciated and treated as an asset rather than sc-m by the management.

Update arbroath the brothers grimm are ruling the roost. One a ptl hiding his brothers misdemeanors and mistakes. All in plain sight of workforce. Ethics hot line been bombarded night and day. No action yet
Bean counters are good at putting beans in buckets or hiding beans in secret buckets. However, they have never made something out of nothing. Production, sales, innovation and service create value. Somehow the bean counters convinced the outside world they were important. I was once told customer service and accounting were the strength of the company. By a bean counter.
I believe mid level managers are clueless throughout all of Halliburton. These mid level managers were promoted up through the good ole boys buddy YES man system. They couldn't manage their way out of a hole if they try. They get their marching orders from the top and right now the top is basically saying hold the line on cost, don't hire if you need to or have you jump through hoops to justify that you need workers. Halliburton is run by a bunch of bean counters.

This is the first time I've felt like I've been tossed to the curb. One day I'm part of the team ,the next day I'm out. Excluded from email and not a word said. Not sure what's going on behind the scenes but wow, such professionalism on their part. Guess I didn't make cool kid club.
Here we are once again...Old tool lines soon to be obselete? Reduction in force on hold? Sounds like management should pay the cost this time around....not the techs..Been in R&M for 6 yrs.....this is by far thr biggest cluster yet.
Hopefully they make it past the 1st Quarter. Friends at NB campus claim lay off date confirmed. Hopefully it's not true.
GET IN WHERE YOU FIT IN......Lots of uncertainty for those who haven't been "chosen" according to one source. Glad to have been moved than left behind.
