What are your thoughts about potential Textron layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

I was laid of at the Hunt Valley facility in April. Just scored an interview with Primus Aerospace in Reisterstown if anyone is still looking for work. They are looking to hire for a bunch of different jobs. Just thought I would throw this out there. Wish me luck.
Managment at Hunt Valley knew this was coming. Get your head out of the sand. I knew back in Nov 2023. And I was part of Mgmt laid off. As far as the VP. If it is air systems. Yes Arrogant F*#K
April 4, 2024 there was a reduction in Force due to the Shadow program cancellation. Severance was fair during termination by HR for all 100 employees, HR never thanked us for our service. The management at Hunt Valley did not see this coming. The senior VP on site management is clueless.
I didn’t get my enhanced severance payment even though I signed the waiver on the 4th

The Army pulled the Shadow Project’s funding which led to several hundred layoffs today 4/4/24.
Yes. Alot of good people were let go.I do not understand Textrons thinking. Alot of knowledge just walked out......... There are more to come 2nd qtr also

Well alot of cuts in Hunt Valley today.
supply chain issues are leading to missed deliveries. Also upcoming contract is issue for company. Layoffs will happen before summer to give company an edge during negotioations.
Has anyone heard anything new?
I hear the shadow contract may be terminated soon.
