What are your thoughts about potential First American Financial layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Layoffs on both direct and agency sides; It’s definitely a morale ki-ler. Severance is sad… typically 1 week per year of service, but maxed at 10 weeks with health benefits ending at the end of the last month of service. Loyalty doesn’t matter!
Was it the direct division?
My mom got laid off today after 33 years of service, anyone else? I feel so awful for her, she's not taking it well. The layoff package is complete bs, not even 1 week for each year of service for severance.
Who cares.
