Second round of layoffs in one year with them demanding an extra in-office day a week starting January 2025. Also confirmed managers in the corporate office have given resignation. My team seems like it will likely disappear in the next month without our managers guidance and knowledge. Not sure how they will come back from this.

I was part of the mass layoff along with many others. Heard that it was around 250-300 ppl that were laid off.

Party City Holdings laid off approximately 45% of their staff. Notified the workers last Monday not to come in Tuesday, had a meeting and then advised that they were being laid off at the end of the week.

the investment group wanted Anagram, balloon business. They got that with the deal they made directly with Anagram. The investors were saying “we want to open 40 stores a year” but with the layoffs just done they eliminated all of the District Team Leads and gutted corporate employees. Retail can’t operate without support. These actions just guaranteed the collapse of PCHI will happen quickly.

It's really SAD that Amscan Inc., A once great, stable and family-oriented company has been pretty much gutted and Destroyed by the Inept Corporate Mo--ns at Party City HoldCo who now run the Company and focused on a DEI Agenda instead of the basics of Business. It's an absolute shame!

There were corporate layoffs again yesterday. They happen so often nobody can be surprised.
I am not sure how PC is still even open. Why does anyone feel a need to shop there any longer? What a shame that such a great idea has turned to cr-p.
