Do you predict that there will be Duke Energy layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Sounds like the rest of the new organizational structure and next round of layoffs will be happening this week - Wednesday, Thurs, or Friday
Regular emoloyees learned bonus cut by 34%. So we're lucky to have survived layoffs so far with less pay. 😈
More layoffs happened today.
Agreed, after the millions upon millions spent on the Atlantic coast pipeline sc--w up, I was suprized the board didn't ask the CEO to resign. Plus she's been in the role for over 10 years
Get rid of the senior leaders who are all the same and keep making the same blunders year over year. Until the CEO and her staff are removed this will continue. Also, look at the prospectus, the issue isn't revenue nor debt, it's hitting earnings per share, which the senior staff has not been able to manage.
The internal announcements around reorgs are probably a good indicator around which parts of the company will be seeing the most changes/layoffs
What organizations will be affected by the layoffs? Feels like they’re keeping us all in the dark.
Upcoming layoffs made the news today.
Many more are coming.
Any idea if current layoffs are done or if there will be more coming very near term?
I heard total layoffs are around 1200 people.
Surprised they didn’t offer the usual voluntary package, definitely a change from the usual trimming.
I guess at least they let people get their year of service for January first?
Can’t wait to see what this years bonus package is for management.
Anyone know which groups are affected?
my director thinks it’ll be mostly management roles getting eliminated. Guess we will see…
Layoffs on 1/18/24. Senior Leadership down.
Lots of changes/layoffs are being announced soon. Transmission and distribution are being combined.
90 overall in my group, reducing O/M to make it easier to meet EPS, blaming interest rates. No management affected.
They just laid off 10 more people.
I hope so! Ready to leave!
