Anyone would care to chime in with a prediction about potential National Oilwell Varco layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

There will be more, it’s only a matter of time and looking at their $$$ and cents. You know they to keep them bonuses coming!
A lot going from Manchester Green Gate
The ise mission group is being combined back with the RIG division. So that alone will be a ton of redundant positions.
Please let the blood bath begin. give me my severance and let me go.
With the resizing of the NOV pillars, they have to be looking for additional efficiencies across the board. Reviews of facility capability along with head count reduction via additional consolidations. Corporate constraints on segment inventory levels and tying them back to bonus continues to drive each business unit to have minimum stock of raw goods and components. In a world that's still somewhat constrained for delivery of those goods, its ki-ling our delivery. We continue to have backlog and not a good form of it. We have backlog because we only order the parts once we have the orders. Efficient, yes but its driving bad practice's. Everyone is scared to put anything on the shelf! We are truly our own worst enemy.
Heard some key people got terminated in Denmark.
They are handing out VP titles like hotcakes in Rig. lol. Come and get yours Segway.
Please Santa, get me a new Segway and let me make past these next layoffs. I promise I will actually do some work this year.
Soon, HR has been locked in their offices on calls with their doors closed. Anytime now you will be called to mandatory in office meetings.
New operations VP
NOV ain't gonna lay off workers that'll accept 30% below market value. They the only thing keeping this show afloat
Don’t forget gossip!?!
I will be visiting each floor to research this question sir. You can find me on my Segway pretending I’m important with my beige blazer, kaki pants & of course the most comfortable cafeteria worker shoes.
Happy New Year!
