No matter how hard you work your raise is fixed at 2%.
This place is so out of whack anyway. I feel like we have 5 or more managers for every worker. When I first started here someone said you will find out that 99% of the work is done by 1% of the people and sure enough it’s been proven to be true. People steal your work and hand in invention records and patent applications for things they never even worked on. Managers encourage this behavior so they can promote people that have no talent. Don’t speak up because you will never get a good raise or promotion ever again if you do! Nothing seems to be based on actual performance but whether they like you personally or not.
IT source, just got word of IT layoffs, job title eliminations, and re-grouping in IT. IT Directors, Sr. Managers that have been axed
There's been rumors of a big IT reorganization happening in October 2024.
