Walmart was just one of the last nails in DFs coffins. It took a lot of people making d-mb decisions for years to finally ki-l it. But seeing how a lot of those same people are still running the business I’d expect maintaining equipment and any emphasis on quality to stop so they can continue to get their bonuses until the end.
what happened to dean foods maybe happening to Prairie Farms and Hiland Dairy. Walmart is building two more milk plants just to supply their stores. That will cut production down. Rumor is that there is at least one Hiland Dairy plant in Arkansas that is going to be closed within 3 years.
