Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

RFID Tag Up

Any other stores wasting time RFIDing items that WON'T be scanned during inventory??? This is stupid.

And anyone know WHY they're keeping track of RFID error rate? As long as the store gets RFID who the F cares what the error % is. The stickers don't scan over half the time anyway...

Our stores looks bad after Xmas, empty too. But they want teams out tagging up instead of recovering and condensing fixtures.

It's hilarious that a multi billion dollar company is keeping track of error % in the first place... that's time and money wasted. A metric that doesn't count nor should in the BIG picture when inventory is walking out on the daily.

The time to jump ship is now. Things don't look good for this company. They're too backwards and up their own b to know what should and shouldn't be done.

If the item isn’t counted properly during the upcoming inventory it’ll be marked as short, and we’re already going to post record shortage without bad tags.

If the recorded data on a tag is incomplete due to writing on a defective tag, the product will print an RFID tag error to the defective media. This function is to prevent the distribution of defective media with a tag error.

Error percentage show the count vs. booked (Flash) inventory rate, if you have defective tags they should be replaced.

Your store is probably one that is closing.
