No mention of Gennette; he obviously like Tony Spring. Lundgren did a better job as CEO. Did Lundgren hire Spring?

Thanks for the link! I find from 2:30-40 mark interesting. He says "Thats why I am excited for the turn around strategy macys is embarking on...." So there IS a strategy in place, now the thing is what is Tony Spring's role, as he will be leading this in Feb 2024, he wouldn't toss his job at bloomingdales to take on a sinking ship. Does anyone think bloomingdales will be taken down on this change and this was a way for Tony to save his job OR my other theory is, since a CEO is paid handsomely when a company is bought out, maybe this was the only way to get Tony a check as the company gets taken over?
Me & my theories LOL
Listen to what is said at the 2:40 mark. He nailed it. Going forward with no distractions. The current activist CEO the company was saddled with has been all too happy to throw in a distraction whenever the social barometer has allowed. Good riddance to this nonsense.
In short, consumers are ditching material goods and spending on travel, etc. Macy's does not have a chance on pulling a "come back". Better to sell it off now.
