I have been with Citi for almost 11 years, but it’s the first time I am worrying too much seeing this forum. It’s giving such high blood pressure and panicking after seeing fear from my fellow Citi’ens.

Th last major layoffs came at gfc, 2008. Since then it's easy money and no recession times.
If you’ve been with Citi 11 yrs, you’ve been thru a bunch of reorgs and rounds of layoffs before. This is no different. No need to freak out.
It's not worth the panic or impact to one's health. I know it's easier said then done and all. However, what you can do is control how you react to stuff and what you do. I am tired of the dictatorship that I am experiencing daily from higher ups in CMA mode. If you are not on the same level or above they speak around you or use passive aggressive verbiage. Too many hostile rude emails for my taste. I am very disappointed how others are be having towards each other during these uncertain times, but that's our su-ky company.
