The women up for CEO knew, as well. Everyone did!! The only right backfill is an external hire (one w a better business strategy that we currently have).
@OP+1qgPu6n4 Yes. They would never be able to change the corporate culture around if they go with Murray. Since he undoubtedly knew about BL'S philandering with staff, how could he then turn round and put a stop to any further abuses of the rules. If MA and BL socialised outside the workplace, it is possible BL might have taken his current BP inamorata along with him as his guest. Also, who was BL taking with him to BP company functions? Was he turning up on his own? Or was he openly accompanied by a BP girlfriend? Apparently, Lord Browne used to take his mother with him, rather than his boyfriend of the moment. According to the UK Daily Mail, BL's philandering was talked about in the financial City of London. So, if stockbrokers, analysts and Commodity Traders knew, MA surely knew. Apart from anything else, MA has the charisma of a lampost.
