How many of you hold Citi bank accounts. Do you close it for good knowing current operating scenarios?

Also opened accounts for work purposes. I don’t mind the lack of branch presence in my location as I rarely have need to visit a branch. The reason I would close the accounts is Citi consumer banking is inconvenient such as app doesn’t allow transfers between my non-Citi accounts. I have several accounts at other FI and fintechs where I can pay bills and transfer money with ease. From signing into my Citi account and setting up a bill to pay requires too many additional steps.
Also, Citi needs to stop asking to enter the debit card number before a task can be completed! I don’t even carry debit cards and I question how secure my bank is when I’m entering additional sensitive information.
Other credit cards I normally use have better benefits and much higher limits.
Had to open us checking account for work purposes but it will be closed the moment im laid off, having a single branch behind turnstile in the campus is not what I would call customer accessible
Citimortgage was good to us - never sold the loan which I'm sure most of the posters on this board can appreciate. Also, let us refinance when rates went down with a minimum of hassle.
I choose not to mix business and personal
I have Citi bank account and Citi cards. I know tons of employees with both.
The person saying you don’t know anyone with Citi bank account, bet you’re in TX or somewhere with no branches.
We have Citibank US checking and Citi Overseas account and various Citi credit cards and retail cards. I enjoy every services CITI provides.
I can honestly say I don't know a single person who has a Citi banking account. Credit cards, yes. Banking account, no.
I have a Citicard that I've had for almost 25 years and have no intention of closing it.
Unless you have a citigold account and get reimbursed for all non-Citi ATM fees.
