Know specifically of one loooong timer manager, existing and surviving by doing unproductive but "visible" stuff - they have since become a tier 1 speaker and keep blabbering away at conferences, events --- and self promotion Linkedin posts! Zero contribution to actual work.
Pathetic place, where the senior leaders only care about their stock grants, middle managers wonder when they can be safe of the 10% PIP list, and the foot soldiers keep running around on the cool-aid addiction and brainwashing via the Amazon Culture and LPs jargon -it is a cult of zombies and the ones who question this madness are the first to leave or get sacked.
