And some employees don't even bother with a email. They just go home at the end of the day because they feel nothing really matters anymore.
To have their ESG score shoot through the roof, all Boeing needs to do is have gender neutral bathrooms and appoint a furry as a CEO. Or at the minimum have Spirit delivery rainbow colored fuselages. Then your WFH doesn't matter to them.
Did you know every single person who goes into an office to do the exact same thing that can be done more efficiently at home is using over 2X the amount of carbon than those who are 100% WFH. Make sure to ADD this amount back to your calculations you are submitting for your ESG rating score.
Unfortunately, it has been impossible to do the right thing if you work at Boeing for the last couple decades. At best you will get black listed and at worst you will lose you job. It's not like there are any decent or honest people in Boeing leadership anymore that care about anything beyond their next bonus and promotion.
The correct thing would be to fix the problem yourself or do everything you can to make sure it gets fixed before the plane is delivered. I can understand doing nothing knowing about a bug in counting the likes for a cat video, but I can't imagine going to sleep knowing a door could blow out of a plane and your only responsibility was to write an email. If Boeing employees think writing an email is enough for this, then the rot there is top down.
Just put down the person that does the correct thing I sure don't want you around any plane. Can you please leave our company. We want to be better.
Another employee who sees a loose bolt and just writes up an email about it. Then brags about it in her/their status report.
