Should I be looking for a job in Tesla? I have heard all kinds of rumors about working conditions. Not many are about positive experiences. There are also media reports about layoffs possibly coming. Giga Berlin is not doing that well, I do not know if that is indicative of the situation stateside.

Join Tesla if you hate your life or else you will start hating it soon. Don’t fall for the brand name. If you are thinking of joining Giga Berlin then think twice. The market reputation is very poor, you may not find another job after here, many are still searching after getting fired. And work life is horrible, work chaos, 2-3 hr traveling everyday, 1 month notice period and can get fired anytime. Middle and senior management are self centered, inept, immature and does politics to stay in control. If you complain to HR then they will inform the managers and your life will be he-l. Changing teams is difficult. Just had a firing last week, more could follow in march.
Avoid if you can.
