In the past four years I have received one singular 4% raise amid 22+% cumulative inflation in that time. EoY evals mean nothing .. almost nobody is getting raises and the reason I've heard is "continued cost-cutting from the effects of the pandemic" (which translates into business travel freezes, relocation packages, and lots more too).... dont have high hopes its not happening

Probably Tech Support Engineer. My leader had 3% to split among us for merit. No idea yet on how that distribution is going to shake out, or on our IBP’s.

I thought Musk had some grandiose thoughts about how he is saving humanity with is space trips. I definitely would't call him out as someone who isn't up their own butt.

I’d rather be done with all this chicanery and work for Elon Musk or Hock Tan. At least they are honest and don’t pretend to care about the employee or human progress compared to this slimy management style that rewards the ar-e sniffers.

last year 1 of 10 tses had to get $0 merit and 80% ibp; this year it's 3 of 10 get no merit and reduce ibp
