Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

The hole is too deep already

Split off tmgf already. Appoint a ceo who actually understands foundry and process technology instead of this starry eyed cheerleader who just says childish things.

BK dug the hole.
Bob didn’t fill it.
Pat made it deeper.

The next guy needs to start filling it up.

It's Andy Bryant that started the hole with BK and Swan. If you want to blame anyone, it's him for making terrible exec hires.

As for Pat, he's the right guy to try to turn Intel around. They looked for someone for almost a year before hiring Swan FT. That just shows no one wanted the job with AB as Chairman, or AB didn't like the CEOs that would consider the job.

If anyone thinks Intel can design their way back to success again is Charlie Brown thinking they can kick the football. That ship has sailed about ten years ago.

Trying to turn a business in this state around is a thankless and pointless job. The pay package may still look good, but then one may carry the shame of having milked a death row company for what it was still worth with them for the rest of their life.

Pat's needs a hole deep enough that the entire Intel fits in it. He won't stop until then.
