How do you sell the idea that this reverse merger corrects the issues of the previous failures?

Embrace being average until it can be corrected (maybe) during the next event. During the reductions, leaders could have ripped off the bandaid and positioned the company to be kicking ar-e, but instead played games and chose comfort in many instances. Mediocrity was allowed to dig in and gain a foothold during the chaos…..absolutely zero fortitude from leadership at that difficult time, the tower is now reaping what was sown…anyone that was a leader in the middle and above during the reductions should be on the chopping block, their decisions have played out and the company’s slow descent tells the story.
Big Lar got the for sale sign out in the rotunda?
Must have caught wind of the diamondback deal, had to do (make up?) something to try and stay relevant
Enerplus deal does stinks of desperation.
I believe there is talk but there is a lot of things that can happen between now and then. The WPX deal was strung out over months and MRO rumours from December were based on real events. When drowning a person will grab onto anything to stay afloat, even a crocodile or their own children.
We can’t acquire or merge with enough companies to keep us above water because leadership is a failure. And they just keep promoting these failures hoping one day it’ll click. News flash, it hasn’t, it won’t, and no amount of toxic positivity or bogus news leaks to hide missed earnings will ever work.
How solid are the Enerplus rumors?! Hearing that MRO could still be in play.
