For those that where laid off did you receive an email or letter confirming you last day?

I look forward to that end every single day! Want my severance pay before they run out of money!
I’m the poster that answered with the HR email address and am shaking my head over being downvoted.
I also am the victim of the “reorg”, receiving the notice on a very short phone call with my manager and an HR person in mid-Jan. All Citi access was cut off within 2 hours of that call. The info I shared in the post is what HR gave me after a separate inquiry. I hope it’s helpful to some because as we know- HR isn’t very forthright with coming to you first with any information.
Mind reading
Your last working day is the day you’re notified but your last official day is at the end of your non-working notice. Basically what that means is you stop working the day you’re notified but you collect a check for the next 60 - 90 days depending on where you live. At the end of the 60 - 90 days you’re no longer an employee and you can collect unemployment. Lmk if you have any more questions. Ill come back and check this thread later.
An email. Make certain they have your personal email address.
You can email HR at HRSSNAM@citi.com. Give them your name, GEID and mention you’re a newly displaced employee. I was told you can request paystubs and copies of your evaluations thru that mailbox.
Good luck!
